KNUSTSpace ranks 11th in Africa

Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Institutional Repository for research, has moved up in the Africa rankings of the top institutional repositories, going from 44th in 2016 to 11th in January 2017, according to the Ranking Web of Repositories published by Webometrics. There are 74 repositories in the continental rankings so 11th puts KNUST Institutional Repository amongs the best of all repositories in Africa. This remarkable move in rankings reflects the growing number of researchers using KNUST repository.

The KNUST Institutional Repository provided to the university by the Electronic Resource Department of the University Library, is a means to help increase the visibility of the work of KNUST researchers through open access.
